At the March 4 regular, monthly board meeting, we heard from Leanne Kadyschuk, educational consultant, and Mike Waldron, a teacher at Bedford Road, about 'Verso' learning software.

Verso provides teachers the opportunity to increase clarity of learning outcomes; invites students to anonymously share how their learning is going; and creates a space for collaboration with colleagues. Leanne and Mike highlighted how the tool enables targeted responsiveness to students and increases student engagement.

Verso is currently being used at Bedford Road, Caroline Robins (piloting), King George, and Mount Royal.
